The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Samuel Stevenson Greenway. Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Mr. Greenway, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Mr. Greenway was last seen heading southbound on s. Main St. in Mount Airy and could possibly be headed toward Pilot Mountain. He is a 74-year old white male, six feet and one inch tall weighing approximately 210 pounds. His hair is short and gray and his eyes are hazel. Mr. Greenway was last seen wearing a brown, plaid button up shirt with khaki pants and a tan, "Ducks Unlimited" jacket.
