Earthly Body Located: Alan Porter, 58 - California

The family of a Curtis Park man who has been missing for 23 days told News10 that Alan Porter's body was found Thursday morning in Foresthill.
Although the Placer County Coroner's Office has not released an official identification, the family believes the body to be Porter based on the clothing and the motorcycle found nearby.
Porter, 58, was reported missing on Tuesday, April 29 when he didn't return from an afternoon motorcycle ride. Porter took his blue 2004 Yamaha SZX bike for a short day ride at 2 p.m. that day.
CHP officer David Martinez said hikers first found a wrecked motorcycle off of Mosquito Ridge Road. After looking around the area, they then found a body down an embankment in a heavily wooded area. The coroner's office removed the body from scene and will perform an autopsy.
Martinez said the motorcycle crashed about 16.5 miles off of Mosquito Ridge Road. The motorcycle was badly damaged in the crash.
