A St. Paul police officer on patrol Wednesday found an 85-year-old man with dementia who'd been missing since last week.
Say Ber of St. Paul was walking along railroad tracks in the area of Ayd Mill Road and Hamline Avenue about 6 a.m., said Howie Padilla, a St. Paul police spokesman. Ber was taken to a hospital for evaluation, he said.
Police asked for the public's help Friday to find Ber, who was last seen Thursday afternoon in the area of Arlington Avenue and Mayre Street, which is close to Rice Street. He'd gone out to gather cans for recycling, police said.
