Located Safe: June N. Okendahl, 81 - Idaho

A woman who was missing in Idaho Falls was found in a house near an assisted living center Monday.
A phone alert saying June N. Oksendahl, 81, had been found went out around 3:15 p.m.
Oksendahl had been missing since late Sunday night, when she walked away from Lily and Syringa Assisted Living on 850 First Street. She suffers from dementia and has vision problems.
Phone alerts when out to people in the area, and Bonneville County Search and Rescue were called out early Monday to help. Authorities were working door to door to try to find her in the neighborhood.
Police said the house where Oksendahl was found was unoccupied when she came in. It is near the assisted living center.
A person who worked for the homeowner called police.
Oksendahl had apparently been in the house for some time. She was safe and was turned over to her family, police said.
