A mentally disabled man is missing from home in South Hill, and his family fears he may have boarded a plane at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is looking for Cody Brown, 29, who has the mental capacity of a 12-year old and suffers from epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
Brown's family reported Cody missing on Thursday night, after he failed to return from South Hill Mall. He reportedly is not carrying medication that his family said he needs to prevent grand mal seizures.
Brown's family told the Sheriff's Department that Brown called a friend on Thursday night and said he was on a bus heading for the airport and was going to the East Coast. Brown's parents also reported that Brown made two ATM withdrawals at the airport at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
The Sheriff's Department reported a possible sighting of Brown in SeaTac at approximately 7 p.m. Friday, near the Safeway and 7Eleven stores at 216th and Pacific Highway. He was reported to have been wearing a baseball cap and backpack and in the company of a white female, two black females and a black male.
Cody Brown is a white male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He walks with a limp, his family says.
