Richmond Police need your help in locating a missing 15-year-old who failed to show up to school.
Police say Demetres Jones Scott was reported missing from his home on February 24 after he failed to show up to school. School officials contacted his father, who then checked the house and noticed Demetres wasn't home. His father filed a missing person report.
According to police, after attempting to locate Demetres, they learned he was in Detroit. Indications were he was on the west side, although he has friends on the east side.
Police tell us his father has received messages from Demetres and informed him that he is ok. No location is known of his whereabouts.
