#MISSING: Jeremiah Mills, 16 - New Orleans, LOUISIANA

The New Orleans police department is looking for a 16-year-old boy who has been missing since Wednesday (Mar. 19).
Jeremiah Mills was last seen leaving his mother's home in eastern New Orleans before heading to school, police said. Mills' mother said her son left her house in the 4400 block of Gaiwan Driveabout 6:10 a.m. on his way to the school bus, and has not been heard from since.
Authorities said the teen did not attend any classes that day, and has not responded to any text messages or been in communication with anybody. Mills' mother told police that her son does not have a history of running away and is in need of his medication.
Police said Mills is described as being approximately 5-foot-4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing his school uniform, which consists of a black polo-style shirt, khaki pants and a gray sweatshirt.
Police ask anyone with any information on Mills' whereabouts to contact NOPD at 821.2222 or call the 7th District at 504.658.6070. Callers can also reach out anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 504.822.1111 or toll free at 1.877.903.7867.
