#MISSING: Theresa Mayo, 59 - Palmer, ALASKA

Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public's help in locating a 59-year-old woman who was reported missing in Palmer Friday afternoon.
Theresa Mayo was last seen about 11:45 a.m. on Friday, said troopers spokesman Tim DeSpain. About 3:30 p.m., a family member contacted troopers to report that she gone missing from her home, which is located near the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer.
Mayo was described as weighing 90 poundsand wearing a black down coat and possibly a knit hat, DeSpain said.
A initial search by troopers and MAT-SAR, including three K-9 teams and 10 ground searchers, in the area surrounding Mayo's home didn't turn up any clues, DeSpain said.
DeSpain said family members are concerned for Mayo's welfare because of the cold weather.
"We think she might still be in the Valley, but we're hoping someone sees her," DeSpain said. "It's possible she received a ride from someone."
DeSpain said the search is ongoing.
Anyone who has seen Mayo since Friday morning can contact Alaska State Troopers at 352-5401, or call 911. Source: http://www.adn.com/2014/03/22/3387813/troopers-search-for-missing-palmer.html
