Earthly Body Located: Chrisandra "Chrissy" Williams, 40 - Illinois



Hardin County Coroner Jessica Cullum confirmed Friday a body found in in the Ohio River near Rosiclare a day earlier has been identified as Chrisandra "Chrissy" Williams.
"That's the only thing we are releasing today," Cullum said.
An autopsy is being performed by a forensic pathologist, she said.
"We don't know when it will be done," Cullum said.
Illinois State Police commanders have yet to comment on the case.
Williams, 40, of Shawneetown was last seen about 9 p.m. Dec. 2 leaving a home in Rosiclare. She was driving her red 2011 Ford Escape, apparently the vehicle in which her body was found.
Tami Jackson, who had been leading a search for her sister for months, on Thursday said the body located by Team Watters Sonar search & Recovery Inc. from Moro was that of her sister.
