The Lake City Police Department is searching for a 53-year-old missing semi driver.
About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Marty Givens' abandoned semi-truck was found at the S&S convenience store at 1101 NW Marion Ave. in Lake City. Police said the semi was found unsecured with numerous personal items belonging to Givens inside, but Givens was not in the area.
The trailer that was previously attached to Givens' semi truck was found at The Home Depot at 215 SW Home Depot Dr. in Lake City. The trailer was secured and all the previously loaded content was accounted for, police said.
About 12:15 p.m. Friday, Givens was observed at the VyStar Credit Union at 422 NW Commons Loop in Lake City. But he was gone before LCPD officers arrived.
If any contact is made, please contact Lake City Police Department Investigator Tammy Cox at 386-758-5471 or 386-752-4343.
