Police are searching for a 61-year-old man suffering from dementia who was last seen at his northwest Houston Friday morning.
Denton Smith was last spotted at his home in the 1400 block of Bland around 9:10 a.m.
His wife told police she went to a dentist appointment and when she arrived home a few hours later, he was not at their home.
Smith had a stroke in April, leaving the left side of his face paralyzed. He also suffers from dementia and other memory loss issues, authorities said.
He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 165 pounds with black hair and black eyes. Smith was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans, a denim jacket and rusty-colored baseball cap with a black symbol on the front.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Houston Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 713-731-5223.
