#MISSING: Alice Ridgeway, 52 - Chicago, ILLINOIS (Visiting from Kansas - Despondent)

Police are asking for the public's help finding a Kansas woman who was in town visiting her daughter on the city's North Side and hasn't been seen since Friday morning.
Alice Ridgeway, 52, disappeared about 11:30 a.m. Friday from the 5600 block of North Winthrop Avenue, where she was visiting her daughter, said police.
Ridegway's daughter said in an email this afternoon that her mother went for a walk but never returned. She was last seen near the CTA Red Line Bryn Mawr Station, she said.
Family added Ridgeway was "extremely depressed," and may be in an unstable state of mind.
She was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved jacket and black Adidas Capri track pants with three white stripes down the side. She had on a pink undershirt and gray Adidas gym shoes with fluorescent orange laces, said relatives.
Ridgeway is described as a white woman with a light complexion, short blond hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, said police.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Area North Special Victims Unit at (312) 744-8266.
