Los Angeles police today sought the public's help in locating a 75-year-old woman with dementia, who wandered away from her home south of Los Angeles International Airport.
Hester Jones hasn't been seen or heard from since around 2 p.m. Thursday when she walked away from her residence in the 400 block of East Imperial Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Jones is black, 5-foot-1 and 90 to 100 pounds, with short gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was urged to contact the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800. Weekend or after hours calls can be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7.
