Dubois County deputies located a missing Kentucky woman Sunday evening at a farm in Ireland.
Police reported 23-year-old Melissa Emrick was last seen in the 3700 block of Willow Avenue in Jeffersontown, Ky. around 1 a.m. Sunday from the Community Alternatives of Kentucky Group Home.
Emrick is a diabetic who is dependent on insulin, according to the Golden Alert issued by authorities, and may have needed her medication.
Police were able to locate Emrick at the Ireland residence using her phone's connection to the network. She was reported to be in the company of a male friend from Dubois County who had transported her to Ireland.
Emrick was medically cleared and Kentucky authorities were contacted.
