A Windber woman and her 3-year-old daughter were reported missing Friday by a worried family.
Megan and Daisy McClellan were last seen in the Windber area May 10.
Windber police Chief Rick Skiles said officers have attempted to locate them. He said he has no reason to believe they were harmed.
"She left voluntarily," he said. "We don't have any fear they're in harm's way."
He said police want McClellan to contact them to let them know she and the child are OK.
"There's not a whole lot to say. She's not in trouble, she's not done anything wrong," he said. "There was a family issue and she decided to take her daughter and leave.
"She's an adult. She has the right to do that."
