A 14-year-old autistic boy missing since Friday was found safe near his Brooklyn high school on Monday, authorities said.
Police said on Monday that Eliceo Cortez was found in the vicinity of the Leonard M. Goldstein High School, where he was supposed to take a school bus home on Friday afternoon.
Eliceo was instead seen at the B49 bus stop that afternoon, police said. On Sunday afternoon, surveillance cameras showed him at the Sheepshead Bay subway station on the Q line.
Investigators are still trying to determine where Eliceo had been and what he was doing while missing, but police said he was found in good health.
