More than 200 people came to St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday to say goodbye to Berta Yolanda Reyes.
Reyes' body was found May 16 at a construction site. Police are calling her death a homicide.
She was reported missing April 24 after failing to report for work at a greenhouse in Walker.
There were a lot of tears shed and hugs shared – as well as well-wishes from those who attended the memorial service, supporting Reyes' family and friends.
Reyes, 40, leaves behind four children.
When the memorial service ended, a line was formed at the back of the church towards the front alter, where donations were deposited into a box with a photo of Reyes'.
Police are still looking for information regarding Reyes' death and haven't made any arrests. If you have any information, call Walker Police at 616-791-6800.
