New Orleans police are searching for a 44-year-old Texas businessman reported missing since Feb. 27.
Rex Turner of Houston was supposed to be traveling to Louisiana to open a business in Monroe, police said. Instead, Turner came to New Orleans, where he was last seen in good health 11 days ago, the NOPD said Sunday (March 9).
The nature of Turner's business and why he came to New Orleans was not clear Sunday.
Turner is described as being approximately 6-feet-2 and 230 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a scar on his head. He may be wearing glasses, police said.
Authorities ask anyone with information on Turner's whereabouts to call the NOPD at 504.821.2222.
