MEDICAL #MISSING: David Allen Janatka, 50 - Maui, HAWAII #hawaii

Maui police said a visitor who suffers from a mental illness was reported missing by his girlfriend on March 12.
David Allen Janatka, 50, was last heard of on Feb. 19 and his rental vehicle was found on Feb. 22, at the bottom of Ulaino Road in the Hana in east Maui. Police said the windows were down, keys within, along with his belongings.
"Janatka was not in the area, and a search proved unsuccessful," police said Thursday.
A person matching Janatka's description was seen out of Hana in the area of Keanae.
"He was last seen talking to himself and acting irrationally," police said. "Janatka may be in need of medical attention."
Anyone with information about Janatka's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Michael Callinan, 244-6425.
