The Floyd County Sheriff's Department found the vehicle and body of Robert Schmitt, the missing 92-year-old from Floyd.
Schmitt was reported missing since November 2013.
His body was found in Franklin County. Officials say Schmitt opened a gate, drove onto a field, into a steep ravine where his car went 100 yards down, and landed next to a creek.
