Earthly Body Located: Edward Freeman, 49 - Arkansas

According to the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, human remains discovered just north of Wilson on Friday may be that of 49-year-old Edward Freeman of Wilson, who went missing in December.
Mississippi County Criminal Investigation Commander, Robb Rounsavall, said the remains were discovered in the Carson Lake area, just north of Wilson, on Friday, sometime between 12-12:30 p.m., and according to Sheriff Dale Cook the body was spotted by a farmer.
A positive identification could not be made on the scene and the remains are being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for verification, but Rounsavall said the department is fairly sure the identification will come back as Freeman and expects to have those results by the latter half of this week.
Freeman was last seen on Dec. 10, according to his sister and niece, who said he had gone to his ex-wife's residence. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, camouflage boots and blue jeans.
Rounsavall said there was no immediate indication of what might have happened to the body and the department won't know for sure until they receive reports from the crime lab, but at this point they aren't anticipating any suspicious activity to be reported.
