Police are seeking assistance in locating an elderly man that has recently been diagnosed with dementia from the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.
Jesus Esparza, 72, of the 700 block of West Waveland Avenue, let his home about 1 p.m. Friday to run errands but never returned home, according to a release from police News Affairs.
Police described Esparza as Hispanic, about 5-foot-4, 190-pounds with grayish black hair and brown eyes. He does not speak English and also suffers from cardiac issues, the release added. No clothing description was provided.
