#MISSING: John Pena, 41 - Arnold, MISSOURI (truck found abandoned along the Meramec River) #missouri

Police are searching for a missing Arnold man whose truck was found abandoned along the Meramec River on Thursday.

Authorities say officers went to the Arnold home of 41-year-old John Pena after his family called and asked for a well being check.

Police say Pena wasn't home so they pinged his cell phone, which appeared to be located in the woods of a conservation area along the river.

Officers later found Pena's truck off Rockwood Rd. near Telegraph Rd. at the Tezsars Woods Conservation area.  Police searched it using K-9s and deployed search boats along the river to check the banks, but found nothing.

St. Louis County police tried searching for him again the next day by air with a chopper, but again nothing turned up.

Authorities say they do not suspect foul play and continue to talk with Pena's relatives and girlfriend.

Additional details surrounding his disappearance were not immediately available.
