Located Safe: Jeanie Vaughan, 52 - Texas

Austin police announced Tuesday around 11:15 a.m that the search for 52-year-old Jeanie Vaughan has ended. She and her four-month-old cat have been found safe. Police say Vaughan is "physically okay." The cat has been turned over to Vaughan's daughter, a licensed veterinarian.
Vaughan and her cat had been missing since Wednesday, Feb. 5.
She was last seen driving a Budget rental van with a trailer, pulling a blue Mustang, on Highway 71 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Police say she was moving to Austin from Milton, Fla.
The van and trailer were later found abandoned near MoPac and Convict Hill.
Austin police detectives were concerned for her well-being because of potential medical issues.
Around 5 a.m. Tuesday, Vaughan was found in South Austin off of Deer Lane and Brodie Lane, about 2.5 miles from her abandoned van.
Police would not release any further information about the case.
