A 29-year-old Capitola man who went missing Friday afternoon was found Sunday in San Jose, authorities said.
Donavan Almos, who has a mental disorder, went missing from his work place on 17th Avenue in Live Oak about 12:30 p.m. Friday, said Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputy Ryan Kennedy.
Authorities relayed a description of Almos to the media on Saturday. Almos called authorities from San Jose, Kennedy said.
Almos had minor injuries related to his travels and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, Kennedy said.
Deputies said it was unclear why he went to San Jose.
