A multi-agency search for two people missing from Antelope County is ongoing.
Authorities with the Holt County Sheriffs office, Antelope County Sheriffs office, and the Nebraska State patrol are currently searching for 31-year-old Amanda Makovicka of Orchard and 33-year-old Cory Wettlaufer of Inman.
On the Nebraska Missing Persons website: Amanda R. Makovicka, 31, is white, 5'8", 240 pounds, has brown hair, green eyes and was reported missing on January 4, 2014.
Cory G. Wettlaufer, 33, is listed as white, 5'7", 200 pounds, black hair, hazel eyes, and was reported missing on January 6, 2014.
Authorities with the Antelope County sheriffs office say that a vehicle driven by Makovicka was last seen at Wettlaufer's residence in Inman Monday.
The two however were not found at that residence.
Makovicka's vehicle was impounded by the sheriff's department.
Thursday, a motorist reported having contact with Wettlaufer on Tuesday on rural roads southwest of Inman.
Wettlaufer reportedly told the passerby the he'd run out of gas. Witnesses reported seeing a female matching the description of Makovicka in the vehicle.
Officials said the motorist observed the vehicle was running, but gave Wettlaufer 1.5 gallons of fuel.
Then Wettlaufer drove east toward Inman.
The vehicle described as a white 1997 GMC Blazer with 36-K20 Nebraska plates was last seen traveling towards Inman.
Officials with the Nebraska Civil Air Patrol are assisting the search and plan to have two planes in the air to search area.
The air patrol will continue the search Saturday. The search area at this time covers Antelope and Holt County.
