A 24-year-old Reseda man has been missing since Tuesday evening, and his family is asking for the community to help find him.
Brian Anderson was last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday at his home in the 7800 block of Chimineas Avenue in Reseda. He suffers from a medical condition and severe depression, and he needs to take medication.
“I’m always hopeful,” his mother, Estee Anderson, said. “I would just like for my son to come home soon.”
Brian Anderson is a hiker who likes spending time in Eaton Canyon Park in Pasadena, but based on the clothes he was wearing when he disappeared, family members do not believe he went hiking that day. He was wearing a blue V-neck T-shirt, blue shorts and sandals. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. Estee Anderson said her son spent a lot of time alone. She does not believe he has any contacts outside of the area.
He was last seen driving a black 2008 Honda Element with California license number 6BRR961. Estee Anderson is hopeful that someone will see the vehicle – which is also missing – and that will lead to her son.
“He’s such a wonderful young man,” she said. “I just know he was very depressed, and we are very worried about him. He does not have his medication.”
Anyone with information should contact the Los Angeles Police Department West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Call 1-877-LAPD-24-7 on weekends or during non-business hours.
