An Eagle River man is missing and Anchorage police are asking the public for help in finding him.
The Anchorage reports neighbors haven't seen 58-year-old Stephen Gingrich for two weeks
Friend Jaime Rodriguez says Gingrich lives in a home on Hiland Road and spends time on property he inherited in Eagle River's South Fork Valley.
He's an avid outdoorsman.
Police spokeswoman Dani Myren says police Sunday searched the area of Gingrich's Eagle River home and cabin.
He's described as 6 feet tall and 175 pounds with long sandy-blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the APD at 786-8900.
