A 55-year-old Corona woman drove away from home on Oct. 3 and hasn’t been seen since, said her daughter, who is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Terry Lynn Sloan went to her job at McDonald’s on Lincoln Avenue at about 8 that morning, but went home sick, said her daughter, Rose Garcia of Lake Elsinore.
Garcia’s dad said he remembers Sloan answering the phone some time between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., then taking her purse and driving away from their mobile home in the 900 block of Pomona Road without saying where she was going.
“It’s just not like her at all. She’s a homebody,” Garcia said.
Sloan has not been at work and did not pick up her check on Saturday, Oct. 12.
She left the home wearing white flip-flops, black Capri leggings, a white shirt and black baseball cap. She is 5-foot-2, 160 pounds, with short, dark red hair. The license plate on her dark red 1999 Ford Escort is 5ARX802. She does not own a cell phone.
Garcia said her mother is in good health, except she suffered a seizure about a month ago and refused to see a doctor.
