The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 92-year-old white male missing from the Wilburn Gardens Assisted Living Center, located at 3500 Mekins Dr. in Spotsylvania County.
"The missing person is identified as Richard Coleman, whose nickname is Tony," Capt. Jeffery Pearce with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said.
Mr. Coleman is 6’ 0” tall, 172 lbs., with grey hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing a blue denim jacket. He was last seen in the area of the assisted living center at about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18.
"Mr. Coleman has some mild, age related medical issues and may have wandered from the center on foot," Capt. Pearce said. Coleman is originally from Arlington, Va., and police are considering the possibility he man attempt to return to that area.
If anyone has any information concerning the location of Mr. Coleman, they are asked to contact the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office at 540-582-7115, call 9-1-1 or telephone their local law enforcement agency.
