URGENT #MISSING: Ann Marie Newark, 53 - New Braunfels, TEXAS (DESPONDENT - BELIEVED TO BE ARMED)

The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. On September 12, 2013, Ann Marie Newark walked away from her home in the 2700 Block of Maple Tree Drive in New Braunfels after an argument with a family member. Newark, who suffers from depression, left her personal belongings at her residence and is believed to be armed with a handgun.

 

If Newark is seen please notify your local law enforcement, or the New Braunfels Police Department at 830-221-4100.

 

The New Braunfels Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing woman who has not been seen since Sept. 12, according to a press release provided by the city of New Braunfels.

The missing woman, Ann Marie Newark, 53, walked away from her home on the 2700 block of Maple Tree Drive in New Braunfels after a brief argument with a family member, police said.

According to the press release, Newark suffers from depression and left her personal belongings at her residence, but was believed to be armed with a handgun. Police also said that Newark was from the New York area and didn't know anyone in New Braunfels.

Officials described her as 5-foot-2, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes, shoulder length hair, and a scar on her throat.
