Detectives with the Sevierville Police Department asked Thursday for public assistance in bringing home a 68-year-old man missing since Wednesday night.
Paul Merrit left a family member's home on New Riverside Drive to pick-up his wife at church on McMahan Avenue Wednesday night. However, loved ones told police Merrit never made it to his destination. His family has not seen or heard from him since he left the home.
Merrit is 5'10" and weighs approximately 180 pounds. Police detectives also said he has no past history of going missing and no known significant health conditions.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sevierville Police Department at (865) 453-5506.
Respectfully,
Amy Kinney,
