Missing Long Beach man found after day-long search Wednesday

LONG BEACH >> A missing Long Beach man was reunited with his family after a day-long search.
Richard John Aflleje, 68 from Long Beach, was found by family members at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Pacific Avenue and 23rd Street.
He appeared to be unharmed and is at home, police said.
Aflleje was reported missing at 5:49 Wednesday morning by family members and was last seen around 12:30 a.m. earlier that day, according to police.
Family members told police that Aflleje suffered from Alzheimer’s, dementia and needed dialysis.
