A Sacramento man, 73, reported missing since Wednesday, was found at the veterans hospital at Travis Air Force Base Sunday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Donald Bell, 73, was last seen about 8 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Capitol Freewill Baptist Church in the 6200 block of Watt Avenue, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Authorities had deemed him to be "at-risk" because he suffers from throat cancer and can eat only through a stomach tube, officials said. He also takes several life-sustaining medications, which were found at this home.
It was not clear Sunday how he wound up in David Grant USAF Medical Center in Fairfield, or what his condition was when he was found. It was not known if he drove his red 1997 Ford Taurus, which was also reported missing, to the hospital, or if it was found somewhere else.
