The Cumberland Police, along with the assistance of the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit, is asking for the public's help in the disappearance of a Cumberland woman, which they are now calling suspicious.
Investigators say Lisa Ann Simmons, 43, was officially reported missing on Sept. 9, 2013. Simmons had not been seen or heard from since Thursday Sept. 5, 2013 when she was working at a local downtown McDonald's restaurant.
Family members told police it was unusual that Simmons would be gone and not contact family or friends. Law enforcement says they're treating the disappearance as suspicious.
Police say Simmons is described as a white female, about 5'-5'02" in height, weighing about 100 to 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. No description of what type of clothing she may have been wearing was provided. Police say she does not own a vehicle and had no known form of transportation available to her.
Anyone with information on Simmons whereabouts is asked to contact the Cumberland Police at (301)-777-1600 or the C3I at (301)-777-0326.
Respectfully,
