VULNERABLE MISSING: Petrez C. Kelly, 22 - Columbia, SOUTH CAROLINA
Columbia police have released the photo of a 22-year-old Columbia man who is prone to seizures and has a learning disability. Petrez C. Kelly was reported missing by his mother Friday afternoon.
He was last seen around 1 p.m. when his mother dropped him off at the Greyhound bus station in Columbia to catch a bus to Myrtle Beach to visit his uncle, interim Police Chief Ruben Santiago said in a news release.
When he did not arrive as expected, Kelly's uncle informed his mother who then notified police.
Kelly was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, an orange and gray plaid button-up shirt, light blue jeans and orange/gray Nike tennis shoes, his mother said.
Three buses left the Greyhound terminal around the same time Friday: The Myrtle Beach bus Kelly was supposed to have boarded, which stopped at Fort Jackson, Camden, Florence and Myrtle Beach, another bus bound for Atlanta and another headed to Savannah.
Columbia police said it's not known if Kelley walked away from the station, got on the wrong bus, or got on the right bus but got off at the wrong stop.
Citizens are encouraged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME-SC if they know Kelly's whereabouts.
