Officials issued an endangered child alert Friday for a newborn baby missing from the Knoxville area.
The baby boy, with last name Sexton, is 4 days old and was last seen Friday. Police said the child may be in the company of his parents, Jennifer Michelle Sexton and Clarence Michael Posey.
Jennifer Sexton is described as a white female, 5'5" tall and weighing 118 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Posey is a white male, 6' tall and weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Officials believe the family may be traveling in one of several different vehicles:
- S-10 Pickup TN tag# 476 RXL
- Black Pontiac TN handicap tag # 22989
- Black Mercury Sable TN tag # E60429
- White Trans-Am with unknown tag number
- Red Chevrolet truck with TN tag # B16102
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either parent or the child is urged to call the Knoxville Police Department 865-215-7347 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
