Deputies are asking for the community's help with finding a man who disappeared from a wedding reception in Walnut Grove, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said.

Prasad Moparti, 55, was last seen about 4 p.m. Saturday walking from a wedding reception at Grand Island Mansion and never returned, police said.

Moparti is described as a dark-skinned East Indian man with short black/gray hair and has black eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a traditional dress in brown/gold-colored top with cream-colored undergarment.

Police said Moparti is the father of the bride and recently arrived in the United States in January and is not familiar with the area.
