[Missing Veteran: Bernard Hall, 33 - Bossier City, Louisiana (Iraqi War Veteran - car found abandoned on the banks of the Red River)]
A Bossier City family wants answers five days after the mysterious disappearance of 33-year-old Bernard Hall, an Iraqi war veteran.
His car was found abandoned on the banks of the Red River."Police tell us that a blood trail led to the river, but we're still hopeful that he's out there somewhere," said Hall's mother, Pamela Hall.
Hall was last seen Tuesday and reported missing on Wednesday.
"Bernard, you have a loving family and we want you home," said Pamela Hall.
Bossier and Caddo Parish dive teams have been searching for Hall who, according to his family, suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), medical needs.
"He's missing and we have no idea where he is, we are hurting," added Pamela Hall.
The family says serving a tour in Iraq after Katrina changed Hall and they admit he may not have been in his right mind when he disappeared on Tuesday.
"He was a different person once he returned from overseas from that tour," recalls Pamela Hall.
While minutes have turned into and hours into the days, the family continues to hold on to the person they knew before war.
"Smart, intelligent, always graduated top of his class," said Pamela Hall.
The family hopes Hall is alive, and hopes he returns home soon.
"His disappearance is not normal for us and we are going to continue to wonder and search until something comes up," added Pamela Hall.
Above all, the family says they just want closure.
