Age at time missing: 18 years old

 

Marina Boelterwas last seen Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 6pm leaving her work at Bloomfield IGA at Rte.6 & Hwy 231 South in Bloomfield, Indiana. It is not known what Marina was last seen wearing or if she had her cell phone. The Indiana State Police along with the Bloomfield Police Department are asking for assistance in the disappearance of 18 year old and mother of one, Marina Boelter, last seen near the IGA Grocery Store in Bloomfield.

 

State Police along with local law enforcement agencies are using every available resource and lead to find information as to Boelter's whereabouts.

 

Boelter was last seen on New Year's Eve getting into what's been described as a four door 2009-2011 Mercury Milan near the Bloomfield IGA. The vehicle's color has been reported as everything from silver to beige, even gold in color. The Mercury has multi-spoke rims, a spoiler and a blue tooth or cellular shark fin antenna on top. (See attached similar photo).

 

Investigators also now have an unknown person of interest in the case. The person has been reported as the driver of the Mercury and has been described as a white male, in his 40's or 50's and heavy set. The male was also said to have been wearing glasses.

 

An updated description of the person of interest will be forthcoming.

 

Detectives are asking any business or residence that may have any video footage of US 231 in or around Bloomfield, Judson Street or Seminary Street to notify the Indiana State Police Bloomington Post at (812) 332-4411.

 

Anyone with tips or information regarding the whereabouts of Marina Boelter can remain anonymous.

 

Also late Thursday afternoon, ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil confirmed to the Greene County Daily World that ISP is the lead investigating agency in this case.
