URGENT #MISSING: Raymond Locascio, 62 - Cornwall, NEW YORK (Diabetic - has had recent heart trouble - needs medication)

It's been a month since Raymond Locascio vanished. The hard-working 62-year-old family man from Cornwall dropped off his wife, Barbara LoCascio, at her brother's home and then headed to work in Peekskill the afternoon of July 8.
He never got there.
On July 10, Locascio's mint-green 2006 Ford Taurus was found, doors locked, parked at the Turkey Hill Parking Area off Route 6/Long Mountain Parkway in the Town of Woodbury. The area is near the confluence of Harriman State Park and Bear Mountain State Park. The Long Path hiking trail crosses through the parking area, and connects nearby with the Popolopen Gorge hiking trail.
State police Investigator Vincent DeLango said Locascio, who has diabetes and recent heart trouble, didn't have any medications with him.
Police believe Locascio was spotted about 3:30 p.m. July 8 at the Silver Mine Lake parking area, not far from Turkey Hill on Seven Lakes Drive. They believe he may have gotten to the Turkey Hill lot about 4 p.m. Police are looking for people who may have seen him.
Meanwhile, Locascio's wife and daughters wait and hope.
"This is so mind-boggling," Barbara Locascio said. "We can't even wrap our heads around it."
Barbara Locascio met her husband-to-be in kindergarten and they went to grammar school together. They married right out of college. Their daughters, now 28 and 22, came later. Raymond worked as a hospital finance director for years. After losing the job, he pieced together three courier jobs, but had to pay his own gas and car maintenance.
Her husband was diagnosed with diabetes about five years ago, she said, and had stopped taking his medications for a while – until June, when he had to have two stents implanted because of a coronary blockage. He was getting back to taking care of himself, she said. He was applying for a new job. He was excited about their older daughter's upcoming wedding.
Crazy theories that he was abducted or suicidal have been floated, she said.
"None of those things – they don't fly, they just don't fly with us," she said. "We really feel, in our heart or hearts, that he wasn't feeling well, and he got disoriented."
Anyone who may have seen Raymond Locascio or his car is asked to call New York State Police at 845-457-1388 or Cornwall Town Police at 845-534-8100. Calls will be treated confidentially.
