Update 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 - The Silver Alert has been canceled. The Salina man has been found.

Members of the Mayes County Sheriff's Department have issued a Silver Alert for a 79-year-old Salina man.

John Crandall is described as a white male. He was last seen wearing black pants, a white western shirt, black boots and a cowboy hat at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.
