A Silver Alert has been issued for a Fayetteville man who hasn't been seen since Thursday, the Fayetteville Police Department said this morning.
Jeffrey Lamont Elliott, 49, was last seen about 1:30 a.m. in the area of Creeks Edge Apartments off McDougal Drive in the Brentwood neighborhood, police said.
He left the area driving a burgundy 2014 Chevrolet Cruze.
A Silver Alert is issued for people suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments or who are in need of medication.
Elliott is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a white T-shirt with gray and orange on it, a black "NY" baseball cap, light brown Timberland boots and a blue jacket.
Anyone with information or who sees Elliott is asked to call 911.
