MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Authorities in New Hampshire say human remains found during the search for a missing teenager in October are those of a North Conway man who disappeared in 2006.
DNA testing has found the remains found near Cranmore Mountain during the still unresolved search for missing teenager Abigail Hernandez were those of 60-year-old John Sweeney of North Conway.
WMMV FM quotes law enforcement officials as saying Sweeney's family has been notified of the positive identification.
Authorities say there's no suspicion of foul play in Sweeney's death.
