ENDANGERED #MISSING: Jena Chisolm, 20 - Florence, KENTUCKY (dog and car located in Las Vegas)

There's a twist to the story of a missing Kentucky woman believed to be in Las Vegas: in addition to her dog found earlier this week tied to a fence outside a south strip motel, her car was seen in the parking lot of a central valley weekly apartment complex.

The 2006 powder blue Volkswagen Beetle is now reportedly being searched for clues by Metro Police.

Meanwhile has posted an updated more recent photo to the Find Jena Chisolm Facebook page.

20-year-old Jena Chisolm was last seen two weeks ago when she told her father she was going to stay with a friend but would be back the day after Christmas.

Her family tracked her cell phone through St Louis, Albuquerque, Las Vegas and Los Angeles and then back here, where Melanie Downard found Chisolm's dog, Chamber, tied to the fence outside the Diamond Inn Motel near Las Vegas Blvd and Russell Road. She reached the family in Kentucky through a tag on the dog's collar.

Jena's father, Tim, is more than worried, saying he believes she may have been kidnapped.

He's got mixed feelings about his daughter's dog being found. On one hand, he's glad, but notes that Jena never went anywhere without the dog.

The family has concerns about the woman's mental condition saying she dropped out of school and had a doctor's appointment for the day after Christmas.

She's described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 110lbs with two prominent tattoos.

If you have any information that might help you're asked to call Metro Police at 702-828-3111.

The dog is to be flown back to Kentucky Friday evening.
