A 71-year-old woman who suffers from dementia was missing Friday after walking away from her home.
Hafiza Sedique was last seen at 8 a.m. Thursday at her home near Cabrillo Avenue and Carson Street. She told her husband she was going to walk for a few minutes, as she often did, but did not return, said her son, Alex Sedique.
Sedique cannot communicate well and is hard of hearing.
“She needs her medication and she is missing,” her son said. “We don’t know where she is.”
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact Torrance police at 310-328-3456.
