URGENT MISSING: Olga Nelson, 85 - Detroit, MICHIGAN (DEMENTIA - MAY HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY HER SON RONALD NELSON)

The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 85-year-old woman who has dementia.

Olga Nelson was last seen at her home in the 2600 block of West Outer Drive around 5 p.m. on August 21.

Olga is described as  5'-5", weighs 180 lbs with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair.

Police say that Olga's daughter, Doriska Brown, has been in a custody dispute with her brother regarding their mother. The State of Michigan Probate Court awarded Doriska temporary guardianship of her mother on August 22, but when she went to check on Olga, she wasn't there. She told police she believes her brother, Ronald Nelson, may have taken their mother.

RONALD NELSON
