The Columbia Police Department is searching for 51-year-old Alfreda McFadden, who was last seen by her family on Friday.
McFadden's family is concerned for her safety and well-being since she requires medications.  She was last seen wearing a gray, black, and white striped shirt with black pants, white headgear, and an unknown type of footwear.
Police say her family last heard from McFadden at 2:30 pm on Friday.  She left her Cindy Drive home and was seen walking to the Gaz-Bah gas station at 6201 Farrow Road.
Interim Police Chief Ruben Santiago is encouraging citizens to immediately call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME-SC if they have information on McFadden's whereabouts.

Circumstance: Alfreda McFadden, age 51, is missing.  She was last seen on Friday and according to police reports was enroute to the Gaz-Bah gas station on 6201 Farrow Road.  It is
not known where she may have gone from that point. One witness stated he believed he saw her sitting on a curb.  Ms. McFadden may have accepted a ride or be with unknown people. She is
in need of her required medication and her family, and police, ask if you see her to contact authorities immediately. A recent photo is included on this posting.
