MISSING: Ricky Melton, 27 - Corbin, KENTUCKY
It’s been nearly two weeks since the Melton family has been able to rest easy.
“You don’t sleep, you don’t eat. We don’t know where he’s sleeping. We don’t know if he’s eating. We don’t know anything,” Ricky Melton’s stepmother Beverly Melton said.
That’s because 27 year old Ricky Melton went missing from his home in Corbin July 26th. His cousin, Candace Melton, says it’s almost like he vanished into thin air.
“At his apartment, his car was there, his keys to his car and his apartment were inside his apartment. None of his clothes are gone, one of his cell phone was still in the apartment,” Candace said.
Kentucky State Police haven’t had any leads in the search for Ricky, which has his stepmother Beverly fearing the worst.
“You just throw your hands up. We’re begging, what do we do? We’re begging for help, that’s all we can do,” Beverly said.
“We’re just desperate. We want some information, we feel like someone knows something. We just want to know if he’s okay, we want to know where he’s at," Candace added.
Ricky’s family is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to him.
If you have any information about Ricky Melton, call Kentucky State Police Post 11 at 606-878-6622.
