MISSING: Gretchen Leonard, 76 - Pasadena, CALIFORNIA
Police Saturday asked the public to keep an eye out for an elderly Pasadena woman who disappeared while driving home from a friend's house Friday.
Gretchen Leonard was last seen Friday driving her dark blue 2007 Lexus IS 250 with California license plate number 6LLD553 in the east end of Pasadena, Pasadena police officials said in a written statement.
She was following her husband, who was driving in another vehicle, about 2:30 p.m. as the couple headed to their home on the west side of Pasadena from a friend's home in San Marino, Lt. Jason Clawson said.
At one point during the trip, Leonard became separated from her husband.
"He turned right, she turned left," Clawson said. She and her car haven't been seen since.
Police described Leonard as white, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 130 pounds, with short white hair and blue eyes. She was believed to be wearing brown pants.
Anyone who spots Leonard was asked to contact Pasadena police at 626-744-4621, or 626-744-4620.
